Our elementary lesson program is in full swing, thanks to the efforts of the Dedham School of Music. Students in all four elementary schools are studying band and orchestra instruments to get ready for their first performances at the annual holiday concerts in December. Many thanks to new Executive Director Amy Fichera for all her efforts in getting this entire program underway. DHS Marching Band

The DHS Marching Band continues to refine their competitive program as they prepare to perform at NESBA circuit shows later in the month. Director Jeff Daniels has prepared a show that features the talents of all members that can be seen at home football games throughout the season. This year’s program is ‘D.C. vs. Marvel’ and features music from the movies Superman and Captain America. They will also be performing at UMass Band Day at Gillette Stadium, and will travel to the annual Thanksgiving at Norwood HS in November.
