Congratulations to the students and teachers at all grade levels for a memorable month of exceptional displays of their talents and acgievements for the schol year quickly winding down. The month of May started with the All-Town Instrumental Concert, and the DHS Fine Arts Awards. Best of luck to our graduating seniors as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. We are proud to announce that three of our students will be majoring in music at college next year. Guitarist Andrew Maher (pictured) will be attending UMass-Lowell. Drummer Derek Jameson (also pictured) and Soowon Kim will be attending Berklee College of Music.
The DHS Drama Club had another well-received spring production featuring students from all grade levels. Their presentation of three short plays featured the efforts of many students who refined their acting skills throughout the school year
The DHS Spring Concert once again featured a performance by the Dedham High School Alumni Chorus. Their closing combined number of Get On Your Feet did that just that to the audience. Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Chorus, and Ave Choir rounded out the evening. Again we’d like to acknowledge seniors in chorus and band for their outstanding contributions to DHS over the past 4 years. We’d also like to thank all parents who contributed to the success of all ouyr high school performing groups throughotu the year.

The month continued with concerts at schools across the district. The middle school concerts featured the choral groups on May 26th and all instrumental groups performing on May 28th. Congrats to Mr. Taylor and Mr. Daniels and all their students for awesome nights of music.
June started the elementary concerts. Avery School started it off with their annual spring concert on June 5th. Riverdale, Oakdale, and Greenlodge concert info can be found in the fine arts calendar at the top of the page.
