March Highlights

Cinderella CastCongratulations to the Class of 2016 for their successful run of Cinderella. Students presented memorable performances to enthusiastic audiences in this annual tradition. The cast and crew were polished and ready and entertained those who attended with Rogers and Hammerstein’s classic musical score. You can see photos of the performances in the Senior Musical category in the sidebar.

We are excited that three of our All-Town concerts are approaching quickly. The concert featuring our string students will be on Tuesday, March 29th at the Middle School. The following night, DMS will host the annual Don Heald Night of Jazz. Both concerts start at 7pm. These will be followed by the All-Town Choral Concert on Wednesday, April 13th. All are invited to witness the talents of our school musicians and celebrate the talent and hard work of so many students and their teachers.

GuardPercussionThe DHS Winter Guard and Winter Percussion wrapped up their regular season on March 19th and now prepare for the New England Championships. The guards show – ‘Living’, has been a crowd favorite throughout the season. Percussion’s presentation of ‘The Big Bad WOLFgang’ continues to add props, special effects, and storyline as they approach finals. The NESBA Guard Finals are at Salem HS on 3/26, followed by the Percussion Championships at Dartmouth HS on April 2. You can see video of all their shows in the Winter Guard Percussion category in the sidebar.
